Our finder uses 8,661 five-letter entries generated from the English Speller Database (formerly SCOWL). We include American spellings and common variants, while filtering abbreviations, non-word categories, and entries marked as offensive or vulgar.
A word list is a practical search aid, not a ruling for every puzzle. Individual games and dictionaries may accept a smaller or different set of words.
